22 Products on My Beauty Wishlist

My favorite past time was being able to afford and try new beauty products on a semi-regular basis. Is it too early in the morning to be this dramatic? Or perhaps it's the afternoon when you read this so it's not too early to hear me whining. All jokes aside, trying out new beauty products, whether it's makeup or skincare, is genuinely fun to me. I might not be a beauty guru or a makeup artist, but I'd like to think my skills aren't absolutely tragic. And even if they were, why should that stop me from playing around with new products when it makes me happy?

Since I do not have the budget for these new, fun things, I'm stuck pining after new arrivals or some old tried and true favorites. I stopped creating baskets on websites because it just made me sad and also because the stores kept sending me sad e-mails about how I had things waiting for me in my cart that I knew damn well I wasn't going to buy. So I started bookmarking them instead...and continued bookmarking them until I was left with a list that would cost me a pretty penny if I decided to actually buy them.

When it comes down to what attracts me to a product, it genuinely depends. I like interesting packaging right off the batt. I tend to look at brands that I'm comfortable with or ones that I've heard great things about through the grapevine AKA from the beauty people I watch on YouTube. And then sometimes, I get sucked in by the trends and the somewhat strange products. Glitter face mask? Count me in. Magnetic face mask? Take my money, Dr. Jart!

If I had some spare cash to drop at Sephora and beyond (there are a few bits on Amazon that are intriguing as all heck to me), there are some things at the top of my list. Some thought has gone behind this list...and then some of it was just thrown in there because it's prettttyyyy. What's the point of new products if they aren't cute and photographable for my blog and Instagram? Jokes, jokes!

What's on your beauty wishlist?

  1. The Fenty Beauty lip gloss is also on my beauty wishlist! That plus the Pixi Glow Tonic that everybody keeps Instagramming about.

    1. Ugh, the color is absolutely gorgeous and even if I hate lip glosses I for some reason still need it??? Also that's so funny that you mention the Pixi Glow Tonic, I just picked that up from Target last week too and have been using it daily! I'll do a post on that soon (and probably an update post because it takes a bit longer than two weeks to work to its fullest potential). :)
