This post is purely a celebratory post about the Cleveland Cavaliers defeating the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night in the NBA Finals. This win brought Cleveland its first championship after a fifty-two year drought and in a record breaking win at that. No team has ever come back from a three to one deficit in a seven game series and I am just all sorts of proud. Cleveland is a cool place, guys, and they (we? Can I say we? I'm going on my fourth year as an unofficial Ohioan) deserved this win and title and everything that comes along with it.

So, to celebrate, I subjected myself to hundreds of thousands of people, which is a feat in itself. I can't even handle general admissions at concerts, so patting myself on the back for this one.

Cleveland is home to many things. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Barrio, some other stuff, but truly it is home to passionate people and passionate fans. This championship was not just for the team or for the city, but for the people who call and have called Northeastern Ohio their home. Thanks, guys.
