Milan Fashion Week

Three fashion week circuits down, one more to go. Milan fashion week usually yields the high-end and somewhat over-the-top looks, making for a week of moving art. That's what fashion is to me, anyways.

These were some of my favorite looks from Milan Fashion Week this year.

Look 18 from MSGM
How fun is this fuzzy neon pink and navy oversized coat? This takes the relaxed boyfriend style to the extreme.

Top row: Looks 4, 6, and 11 from Dolce & Gabbana
Bottom row: Looks 17, 53, and 69 from Dolce & Gabbana
Dolce & Gabbana collections are always baroque era paintings reincarnated into beautiful clothes, a timeless recreation that is nearly impossible to choose favorites from.

Looks 14 and 44 from Emilio Pucci
I have a thing for high necklines and neckties on women, what can I say?

Look 15 from Roberto Cavalli
I think we need a moment of silence for the gold trim on the one side of the long vest as well as the lining of it. Hoooooly details!

Looks 1, 7, and 14 from Philosophy di Lorezeno Serafini
Look 9 from Versace
Red is my least favorite color, yet I cannot help but pine after this head-to-toe red ensemble. Even the sunglasses match, for godssake!

Look 24 from Giamba
In a collection full of vivid color and various floral prints, I still somehow manage to pick one of the only black and white looks...

Look 23 from Blumarine
Top row: Looks 2 and 3 from Alberta Ferretti
Bottom row: Looks 5 and 46 from Alberta Ferretti
Looks 2, 37, and 39 from Prada
Prada was all about color for fall, including immense amounts of pastels (various hues of pinks and teals, chartreuse, even throwing in a neutral gray to tone it down) and voluminous shapes.
