I don't think I've owned a proper pair of winter boots in a long time. Once I got my first pair of UGGs in middle school, I thought I was covered on the boot front. When those got pretty much ruined (Northeastern winters don't allow your boots to last for very long...), I transitioned into riding boots, which aren't exactly the best for winters when mixed with salt and melting snow. Now that I walk to get most places in the city and a lot of the sidewalks aren't shoveled, I've decided that maybe it's time that I get myself a nice pair of winter boots. Here are some pairs that I've been pining after (okay, and some riding boots because I can't help myself).
