Mwah! | An April Playlist

Saturday, April 29, 2017

Before I go any further, I will admit that this playlist features two songs by Metro Station as well as some songs from Beauty and the Beast. Really though, this is a fairly normal occurrence within my playlists. I'm pretty sure last month had new Frank Ocean, Celine Dion and George Michael so...

I digress, this month has been fun for music. Bleachers came out with some new music, which absolutely blew my mind. "Don't Take the Money" has their signature 80s flair that will make for the perfect summertime, windows down jam. Banks has a new haunting track that makes me want to dim all of the lights and let a fog machine go wild in my room while I sob in fetal position in the center of my bed.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, I'm pretty sure that Dua Lipa has ruled my entire life this month. It all started with "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)," which has slowly become my new "Into You." I can't go a day without listening to it. I don't even like going a few hours without listening to this song. Walk down the street with this song playing in your headphones and I dare you not to start strutting. It's not possible!!!

Of course, Harry Styles' debut single has its place on my April playlist. Soon, my entire May playlist will be his debut album. I'm so not ready for May 15th when that comes out. Must. Mentally. Prepare. There's also a really cool track on this playlist called "Summer Clothes" by Marc Scibilia, a Buffalo native. His music is really chill and I've been really enjoying the acoustic version of that single!

    1. First the same taste in clothes, no music too hahaha. I don't even know what possessed me to listen to them again this month, but hey, I'm not complaining hahaha.
