Sorry, I'm Latte

Guys, if you know me, you know I'm at a Gilmore Girls level of my coffee and espresso consumption. It's not even an obsession, really, I just truly enjoy it. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not a connoisseur by any means. I'm not crafting my own concoctions at home with a milk frother or any fancy machinery. I rely on the pros for that, as my own lack of talent would yield sad, sad results.

I drink some sort of coffee/espresso/tea beverage every single morning, without a fail. I cant help it! It's part of my routine and my routine is very, very important to me. While there's room for spontaneity, my ~caffeine consumption~ is key. It's not even about the caffeine though, I can't even be bothered by that. I just like the taste, plain and simple guys! And, you know, so I can feel just that much closer to being Francesca Gilmore and not Francesca Gariano of course.

*This post is brought to you by Dunkin’ and Her Campus Media, but as always, all opinions are my own. Duh!*

I don't have any particular loyalty to any coffee chain. I'm not a regular anywhere unless it's purely out of convenience so you can see me walking around with nondescript cups from bodegas or the quintessential holiday cups that everyone covets. Or, you know, Dunkin'.

I'm no stranger to Dunkin'. I didn't grow up with a lot of options at home. There weren't really any chain coffee places in Niagara Falls and the local shops were either inconveniently located or just didn't pop up until after I moved out. Dunkin' coffee was fairly regular in my household, but once I moved to Cleveland and now to New York City, my frequency at Dunkin' died down a bit. No hard feelings, Dunkin'!

Because everything comes back full circle, oddly enough one of the closest places to my apartment to get coffee and espresso drinks is–you guessed it–a Dunkin' location. And good news, espresso fans. Dunkin' has completely revamped their espresso drinks. We're talking about new equipment, smooth flavor, and handcrafted lattes and cappuccinos. Sign me up, y'all!

I have zero shame. Sure, I live in Brooklyn, land of the manbuns and hipsters and local coffee spots, but I have no issue popping around with my Dunkin' latte. Gimme that orange cup! Plus, come on, how can I resist anything with a massive exclamation point on it? That's my favorite punctuation mark of all time. The great latte is just another perk!

What's your favorite espresso beverage? I'm partial to a nice vanilla latte!
