The Mindy Project, Haircuts, and OOTDs

Like my life, this is going to be one mess of a post. I like to think of this blog as my outlet to try to be best friends with as many people as possible. As your best friend, I'm going to tell you about my day and you can either read along and listen or choose do something else with your time. But if you were a real friend you'd listen (I'm only joking. This isn't middle school!)

I scheduled myself a hair appointment on 10AM on Friday, which means I get to drive all night after my Spanish class on Thursday to make it home at a decent hour! I'm just really glad I got this appointment in now because there is absolutely no way that I'd ever be able to make it until the end of October with my split ends and awkwardly long length. I usually never have a reference picture, so I decided to search through my hair board on Pinterest and got incredibly tempted by the "lobs" (long bobs). I'm convinced that these sorts of haircuts look good on literally everybody besides me. Need proof?

The ever so lovely Lily Collins and Willa Holland can, not surprisingly, pull of this length. However, a young Francesca, circa 2009, could not.

I am too mortified to post more than one picture. Ever since the dreaded collarbone haircut the summer before my freshmen year, I have vowed never to have short hair again. This vow is really annoying when it seems like everybody and their grandmother has a bob or shoulder length hair that is always tousled perfectly and seemingly effortlessly.

A "lob" isn't in the cards for this haircut, but I have finally picked out a style rather than just putting my trust in my hair stylist to just make it work. You'll just have to wait until Friday to see!

Boots: Stolen from my mom (they might be Anne Klein)

My dearest friend Emma was commenting lately how I didn't do outfit of the day posts on Instagram that much anymore, so yesterday I did. Shoutout to my homegirl Emma, with which this #OOTD would not have been possible.

THAT'S RIGHT, The Mindy Project is back on and I am 50 shades of ecstatic. I binge watched the first two seasons of this show right before finals week last semester (I nailed it, by the way. 3.85 GPA, WHADDUP) and am so glad to be able to cackle hysterically in the living room in real time and scare the living daylights out of my roommate because it is so abrupt and loud. I missed Mindy & Co. and definitely enjoyed the little, er, show at the end (watch it and you'll know what I'm talking about) (Or just google it) (Or search the tag on tumblr). You'll know when you see it.
