Suede Skirt & 70s Vibes

I swear, the suede skirt has taken over this season. Really, just the idea of a button-up skirt is back in action (I have a denim one as well that I'm itching to photograph!) and I'm loving every second of it.

A suede skirt has been on my to-buy list for quite some time, so when my dream finally came to fruition a few weeks ago, I had to jump at the chance. I've worn it a couple of times since and am in love. I have so many other ways that I want to style it during the winter time, so I'm definitely stoked to have this working as a transitional piece during seasons as well.

It looks cute with t-shirts, with thin sweaters, thick sweaters, blouses (I am imagining it with a really billowy peasant top and am loving the mental image I have) really just any sort of top depending on the weather.

I wore this particular ensemble to the Kodaline concert last Wednesday and it was the perfect look for it. I wore this one before with a black long sleeved tee and nude lipstick, so I decided to vamp it up a bit with a nice dark berry lip color. And those Steve Madden open toed booties? The most comfortable shoes I own, hands down. My riding boots are not as comfortable as these shoes, I swear.  And they make me feel so good! I can't have a bad day when I'm wearing them, honestly.

My friend and I had to wait ten minutes for our favorite taco place to open after the interview with Mark was over, so I asked her if she was willing to take some pictures for my blog for me and she agreed! And she even thought of the perfect place to take them! She picked out this graphic printed wall near the Lebron poster downtown, behind the casino (if you're familiar with Cleveland!) Look at those gorgeous colors!

And since there's always a blooper photo....this is what happens when Abby starts making purring noises while she's taking photos.
