Ripped Jeans & Red Lips

I'm all for the casual nature of a simple sweater and a pair of distressed jeans. It's one of my go to outfits when I don't want to look super put together, but I want to add a bit of edge and a casual aspect to my outfit. There's something so simple about a nice plain knit during the winter months, especially to transition from season to season.

I bopped around Ohio City on Sunday in this pretty simple ensemble! I finally broke in these Zara cap-toe pumps so I was able to actually walk around in them without ripping open the back of my ankles. I definitely centered my accessories around my outfit. The main goal was to be comfortable and to take advantage of the beautiful day. I wore my favorite pair of seriously distressed jeans from Joe's Jeans and added a new addition to my wardrobe, this white Rag & Bone chunky knit sweater. It's uber soft and is one of the coziest pieces of clothing in my closet.

No outfit would be complete without an accessory or two! My sunglasses are by Tom Ford and are my shape. The cat-eye frames are the only frames that I think will ever suit my face and nose shape. I love that they're more simple than my bright and statement pair of Quay reflective sunglasses. I ended up selling all of my sunglasses, so I figured it was time to get a second pair to fill in the gaps in my now non-existent collection. You can also sort of see my David Yurman Petite Albion ring, which I rarely go a day without wearing. So funny, especially for someone who used to never wear jewelry. And how perfect is this little Saint Laurent lipstick cross body bag? I couldn't resist wearing my signature red lip (Too Faced Lady Balls) with this bag! It's a must!

I now realize that in my last outfit post, I completely forgot to post a few bloopers. I used to do this all of the time with my fashion posts, so I figured it was time to bring some of them back. They always make for a nice laugh!

Clearly far, far too excited to be alive.

And on the complete other end of the spectrum...who pissed in my cheerios?
