Things I'm Loving

1. To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han

I have conquered my reading dry spell with this lovely, lovely book. Young Adult books are my favorite things to read when I don't know what else to read. I know they're always going to be good and entertaining and aren't going to make me angry when it takes me forever to try to read through them. Honestly, books of essays and YA books are my absolute favorites. This one in particular is really cute (and has great representation in it to boot). I'll be doing a post on this book in detail over the weekend (hopefully!) but reading it has been some of the best parts of my day because it's just so cute and the main character, Lara Jean, reminds me of myself which makes me a little bit giddy.

2. Gilmore Girls

That's right, I finally finished rewatching Gilmore Girls for the third time. It took me a few months to watch two seasons and then I watched the remaining five seasons in the matter of two months. It was really great background noise for me and rejoining the lives of the Gimores & Co was a really, really nice addition to my summer. Here's to aspiring to be a Gilmore girl!

3. Chloé Sunglasses

I got two pairs of sunglasses the other week that I am just head over heels in love with. This specific pair was in an outfit post I did a couple of weeks ago. I am a huge fan of big sunglasses because I have a big nose and a big head in general, so anything that isn't described as "bug eyed sunglasses" by the general population will not work on me. I love the angular shape of these as opposed to perfectly round circles, though I would kill for a pair of circular glasses from The Row (a girl can dream, right). I love the lighter tortoise shell frames as well as the skinny arms. They're just the perfect pair of glasses for me and I am so stoked to start wearing them back in Cleveland!

4. NARS Orgasm Blush

I went on a kick where I was only wearing two of my cream blushes until I realized that I have a whole collection of unloved blushes that I should really start using again. The first one I picked up and haven't been able to stop using is the ever-so-scandalously-named Orgasm blush from NARS. I just love NARS blushes in general, but this is one of the most perfect universally flattering summer shades I have even seen. And it's a one stop shop! It is a nice flush of pink, but it also has some gold shimmer to it that covers you on both the blush and highlighter front if you're not going for anything too dramatic. It gives you the nicest flushed glow and I feel like a princess whenever I sweep this across my cheeks.
