Things I'm Loving

1.

1. "I Really Like You" by Carly Rae Jepsen

I am at the point in my life where I am not in any way embarrassed by the fact that this song is MY JAM. I am the person who, four years later, is still jamming to "Call Me Maybe," so I guess it's about time that I have a new Carly Rae Jepsen song to love unconditionally. Also, this music video is precious. Anything with Tom Hanks in it is a winner in my book.

2. Dove Chocolate Covered Almonds

Dove chocolate is something I always have in my arsenal, so when I saw these at a store on campus a couple of weeks ago, I was intrigued and bought a bag to test out. Six bags later...here we are.

3. L'Oreal True Match Powder

The last time I was at Target, they didn't have my Revlon Nearly Naked face powder, so I ended up getting this L'Oreal True Match powder on a whim because it was the cheapest one I bought that I knew was going to be fragrance free. I actually like it quite a deal, though! It keeps my skin matte all day and sets my makeup nicely! And holy crap, is it smooth.

4. EOS Cucumber Hand Lotion

I have to keep this on my bedside table because my knuckles like to get incredibly dry, especially when I walk outside and let my hands get bitten by the cold winds. The cucumber melon scent from Bath and Body Works back in the day was my absolute favorite, so I figured opting for the cucumber scented EOS lotion would be a good life choice (and I was right).

5. Sleeping At Last

Okay, so he (Ryan O'Neal) isn't exactly a new discovery. "Turning Page" has been on every "chill" playlist I've made over the past few years and "Tethered" has an honorary spot on the playlist I use when I'm working at the boutique. It wasn't until these past couple of weeks that I finally started to delve deeper into his music. His voice is just so damn relaxing, I could listen to it all day.

To listen to:
"Jupiter," "Neptune," "Moon," "Tethered," and his cover of "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic."

6. Peach Green Tea Lemonade

I  am a massive fan of peach flavored things (peach rings are life, guys), so when I saw (re: my friend/Starbucks connoisseur) that the peach green tea lemonades were back at Starbucks, I got a bit giddy. Pro-tip, courtesy of my friend Abby: order it with only three pumps of peach syrup so that it isn't overpoweringly sweet and strong!
