Your Lovin' Is Bible | An August Playlist

Y'all, Liam Payne released a new EP this month and that's really all that matters. In all seriousness, I think I skipped a playlist last month so we've got a lot to talk about this month. In true Francesca fashion to keep everything on brand, let's just dive right into discussing one of the loves of my life, Liam Payne. It'd only be right to let you guys know that I listen to "Home With You" and "First Time" from that EP on a daily basis. Actually, to be more accurate, I listen to "Home With You" about every single hour that I possibly can because...I have a problem. What can I say, I'm a loyal babe. I gotta love and support my British son.

I feel like every month I always have a few songs that I can't stop listening to on repeat, and in truth, I have about four songs like that including the Liam Payne BOP. "Lovin' Is Bible" by The Aces has been giving me LIFE. Actually, The Aces, in general, have been giving me life since last summer but I've been bopping to their full album this month. "Cheetah Tongue" by The Wombats and the "Stay" cover by 5 Seconds of Summer have also taken over my playlist. I can't help it, I'm a creature of habit!

My obsession with To All the Boys I've Loved Before this month is another story for another time, but the soundtrack for that movie was so on point that I cannot handle it. "Lovers" by Anna of the North? The hot tub scene? YES PLEASE, HONEY! And "You're Not Good Enough" by Blood Orange? I'm here for both of these tunes!

Death Cab for Cutie released a new album this month, so you know my teenage emo gal was living her best life with that. And let's not forget that queen Ariana Grande dropped Sweetener this month and gave me an album full of songs that I could bop to. I would have sold my soul for songs like "Breathin" and "Successful" to come out years ago so I could have had them this entire time.

Honestly, to round off this post, let's just talk about two more things. First thing, I finally gave Rex Orange County another try these past couple of months and y'all...I'm in LOVE. I feel like I listened to one of their songs months and months ago but never delved deeper into their discography and now here I am bopping multiple times a day to their tunes. That's character development, my dudes.

And last but most certainly not least, in honor of its ten year anniversary..."Crush" by David Archuleta has been getting some serious playtime in my house. Because you know what, sometimes you just gotta relive your teenage years, right? Maybe not in the fashion or you know, any of those chioces. But in the music? That's a safe area.
