Things I'm Loving

1. Clarisonic Mia 2

I don't want to talk too much in detail about how much I've been loving the Clarisonic Mia 2 device for the past month, mostly because I just did one massive review post on it earlier this week. I feel very fortunate to have been able to test this out, thanks to Clarisonic and Her Campus Media and am so happy that it's been working. It's a long process to get to the end result, but Rome wasn't built in a day and my face isn't going to be perfect in a month. If you're interested in reading, you can check out my post from Tuesday to see how it's helped improve my skin!

2. Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in Chillzone

My Sephora has been sold out of Chillzone for the past couple of months and it's been bumming me out majorly. Granted, I don't think I would've worn it until around this time...but that's never stopped me from buying lipsticks that I most certainly do not need. However, I don't own a shade like this and I'm not sure that I'll ever find a shade that it is this unique. In the tube, it has a bit of a muted lilac tone, a medium tone grayed infused with a hint of purple. On the lips, it wears a bit darker and some of the purple disappears. It's my go to gloomy day lip color. I used to struggle with what color to wear with grey. I either opted for no lipstick (which I hate doing), a brown nude (a little better), or a really dark and vampy color (occasionally it's a bit too harsh). But besides this color being absolutely fantastic, the formula of these are impeccable. I don't think I've ever applied a liquid lipstick with this much precision ever and I'd like to think that I've gotten the hang of it. Apparently not! I need to check out the rest of the shades in this range to see if there's something that I don't own already so I have an excuse to try another one out. For now, Chillzone has a special place in my heart and my lipstick drawer!

3. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle

I got this a while ago and I cannot for the life of me remember whether or not I talked about it. If I have already, whoops, I'm still loving it. If not, I've been using this for about a month or so now and I'm a bit obsessed. I'm super late on this fad of using this for my undereyes, but it's fine. I was using the Collection concealer to conceal the bags under my eyes, but that one ran out and it's not sold in the United States so I needed another option. I thought back to every single beauty guru on Youtube raving about this concealer, so I picked it up and as you can see from the photo, I've used quite a bit. It just conceals so well. It doesn't get weird and cakey underneath my eyes, it doesn't make my skin really dry and it hides the dark circles so well. I have no complaints besides the fact that I need to go get a new one soon because I've been loving it that much.

4. UGG Fabrizia studded ankle boots

These aren't available anymore, but I'm sure they can be found on resale websites. I got these at work and let me tell you, I don't regret it. I'm not a massive fan of UGG boots, but I saw these, they saw me, they were my size and the rest is history. I just think these are an amazing pair of boots just to throw on when I want to be comfortable and casual but also warm. They're only lined on the bottom, which makes them incredibly comfortable. They have the typical UGG rounded toe, but nothing else about the exterior screams UGG to me. I love that brassy studs and the buckles on the side that just add some extra details and edge to a pair of otherwise simple boots. I've just been popping them on with a pair of black skinny jeans and a plain sweater and set out for my day. I don't even have to think about it!
