First Night in New York

I spent a majority of today sitting on a bus, my tailbone aching for hours on end. I did, however, read through a majority of Mindy Kaling's second book, which I purchased by when it came out in the fall. I am a literal piece of trash, but it's okay, I'm almost done now!

Eating on long bus rides is tough. I had some protein bars and Brookside acai chocolates along with a hummus and veggie wrap from Trader Joe's. I usually really enjoy these wraps, but this one just wasn't...good. So needless to say, after the nine hour ride on a virtually empty stomach, I was definitely in need of some sort of sustenance when I got to the city. So basically, I dropped my bags, pulled up the menu for Spice, and placed an order for pick up. Let me tell you, I've never felt like a proper twenty something until that moment. I felt so cool. I know it's something simple but I celebrate the simple things in life!

Now I'm just kicking back and watching TV, winding down from a long day of doing, well, nothing. There's just something so exhausting about sitting doing nothing for hours upon hours.

I'm very, very excited to see what tomorrow has to offer!
