June Reflection

June wasn't a bad month, per se. There were no bad days, but nothing monumental happened (well, aside from my trip back to Cleveland. That was pretty huge and wonderful). Between work, family time, and just me time, there hasn't been a lot of room for more exciting things. So while this wasn't the most eventful month, I can never complain about a full month at home!

So as I said, I went to Cleveland in the middle of the month to visit my friends and meet our cat, Bailey. I made a whole blog post about it, but it was a really nice way to break up an entire summer away from my roommates and the city in general. It felt so strange to be in Cleveland during mid-summer! It definitely got me jazzed to not only live with three cool chicas next year, but to gear up for my third year in Cleveland. It's so crazy to think that I've been there for two entire years. It doesn't feel like that long and I know this year is going to go by much faster than I want it to, so I'm going to make a conscious effort to try to remember ever last moment and soak it up as much as possible.

It's a little wild to think that July is going to be my last full month living at home for the foreseeable future...I'm definitely excited, but there's little things I'm going to miss: my turquoise walls, the bed I've had since I was about four or five, the view of my backyard, the people inside of the house that truly make it home.

Things to look forward to in July: seeing my family this weekend for the fourth, apartment shopping, babysitting my younger cousins, (hopefully) some great times with my friends, and generally just enjoying my summer.

How did the month of June treat you?
