Does anybody else imagine the perfect outfit that would go along with the mood or tempo of a song? Or an outfit that a certain song makes you want to wear? Music can inspire fashion just as creativity inspires other creativity! I figured what better way than to combine two of my favorite interests into one new blog segment, formal name pending, in which I pick a song and form an outfit based off of said song. Some may be literal, some might just be based off of how the song makes me feel. Like, if I was doing "Low" by Flo-Rida you best bet I'm going to have some Apple Bottom jeans on there.
I figured what better way than to start with Taylor Swift's song "Style" because, well, it's "Style" for gods sake. That song is my eternal jam and my car rides would not be the same without it.
This is one of those literal song to outfit translations. Every time I listen to that song, I just want to buy a mini skirt and go to town with some red lipstick! I figured the slinky v-neck tank top was a nice addition along with either pair of black heels. I love the look of the Jimmy Choo mules, but the price point isn't exactly ideal, unfortunately. The Jessica Simpson black lace up sandals are also a cute option.
