March Reflection

After taking a look at my Color Calendar for the month of March, I discovered that there were only two days that weren't listed at either "good" or "awesome." One day at the beginning of the month was marked as "neutral" (for what reason, I am not sure) and March 25th was marked as "horrible" solely because it was the day that Zayn Malik announced that he was leaving One Direction. So like...all in all...this month was pretty great! I seriously love my Color Calendar app, it really reminds me that things are so much different than they were at this time last year...so crazy. A lot can happen in 365 days, my friends.

Part of my month was spent at home for spring break, which was relatively uneventful. I stayed home again this year, which I can't even complain about because there are few things I love more than being home for longer than a few days. I got to spend a lot of time with family and managed to fit in at least a coffee date with all of my friends from back home. It felt like a short break and I won't be home again until May, but it was definitely much needed after a rough first seven weeks of school.

For the most part, my March has been spent doing work and finishing projects. I finally finished the story I started writing for NaNoWriMo (I got to 30,000 words but didn't finish). I started writing it again at the beginning of January and slowly but surely made my way through it. I finished it last week and it's like a bittersweet feeling. I miss writing it...but I also love having all of this free time to work on my final projects, especially with a pretty full work schedule starting up this coming month.

Other than Zayn Malik breaking my heart and leaving One Direction (ya'll KNOW his solo music is going to be killer though), this month has been pretty good! I honestly have nothing to complain about, which is very rare. I hope April goes just as smoothly!

Things to look forward to in April:

+ Easter Sunday celebration with Abby
+ The start of the MLB season
+ Hopefully actual spring weather?
+ Almost being finished with my second year of college

How did March treat you? What are you looking forward to in April?
