Francesca's Focus: Fall Semester

I hate to say this to all those who are going back to school in the fall, but summer is more than halfway over. It just hit me the other day that I have less than two months until my next semester of school starts. I spent the whole first half of the summer wishing to be back in Cleveland and now I'm panicking. I need to start getting into the school mindset and what am I going to do with my room? I still need so much! And how in the heck am I supposed to pack up my life again?

Work and family have been so overwhelming lately that I have hardly had a spare minute to think about school. I've been trying to get back into the mindset that I am in college, but then I feel like I'm wasting the summer. I don't know how to find a balance with this!

I'm only taking 5 classes in the fall (as apposed to the 6 classes/18 credits I'm taking in spring, womp womp), but two of them are Spanish classes. I've had, like, zero time to practice my Spanish this summer. I have a feeling that the first week of classes is going to be a rude awakening for me.

Worrying about this with half of summer left is really irritating, but if I don't start now, I'm afraid I'm going to resort to procrastination and denial that I have to get back down to business. With that being said, my posts are going to be a lot more college centric for the next few weeks, as it's about time that incoming freshmen or returning college students start shopping for everything under the sun!

If you have any requests for future posts, you can leave them in the comments, send me a message on twitter (@accordingtofran), or shoot me an e-mail. I'm always open to new ideas!
