Color Schemes

It's that time of year where department stores and the Mother Land (AKA Target) start putting out their dorm bedding and accessories, catering to those college students who need to decorate on a budget (or in the case of Anthropologie, not on a budget). I remember the excitement that came with planning out my first dorm room. It all started with one pillow I picked up 50% off at the Polo Ralph Lauren outlet. It was a quilted kelly green body with a white trim and in the bottom right hand corner were two navy blue stripes and an embroidered emblem with gold and pink detailing. I based the entire theme of my room off of this pillow. For this year, I wanted something different from my navy/white/green theme and made this list for anybody trying to find something new for their second year or for those lost on what to do for their first dorm! There are plenty of color schemes out there, these are just a few. You can get creative with them too! Mixing and matching is the best part.
