July Favorites!

Here's a list of some of my favorite products of July! I cannot believe it's August already. Ugh, I can hear the school bells already.

First and foremost, Physician's formula's mineral wear powder is definitely a favorite and has been for a few months now. I have super sensitive skin prone to breakouts and this has kept my skin nice and healthy. Plus, it lasts really long and has a lot of coverage for a loose powder.

Next are Posietint and Sun Beam both from Benefit. I've been using Posietint on my lips and use Sun Beam as a regular highlighter (cheek bones, nose, forehead, etc.).

I  picked up this Rimmel Sexy Curves Full Body mascara only because they didn't have the purple tube at my Target, but I ended up liking this one just as much. My only complaint is that it is a wet formula so as soon as I put it on I inevitably get some on my eyelid if I even blink. It's so minor that I just clean it up with a q-tip.

During softball season my nails break like crazy so I needed something to strengthen my nails. So far this has been working pretty well. My nails that were flimsy before have seemed to get a little stronger. Plus, this wasn't even that expensive. I recommend it if you have nail breakage or splitting. I still use my OPI Natural Base Coat as well just incase though.

One of my favorite books of this month was The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. It freaks me out (you'll see why if you read the book) that I have so much in common with Esther [the main character]. Her thought process is a little nutty but slightly humorous and dark. The book is beautiful nonetheless and I highly recommend it. Plus, isn't the cover lovely?

My favorite song of the month has been "Marathon" by Tennis. The song has a retro feel to me and I think it's darling. It screams summer to me.

And my last favorite, by far, has been......

...DRIVING! I got my license on June 7th so I was technically driving the whole month of June as well but July is when I finally got to call the car mine for the rest of forever. If my car weren't so dirty, I'd post a picture, but I drive a 2007 Chevy Malibu in black. I love it so much and I'm so grateful to own a car. On my keychain I keep a hand sanitizer (right now I'm using Watermelon Apple) and my change purse from Coach which has all of my ID's and cards and has bobypins and little hair ties inside.
